We are seeing a lift in sales at both ends of the market and the improving economic conditions couples with affordability and price stability has given Calgary a boost in buyers for upper-end homes and entry level condos.
The detached benchmark price for August is $402,251 an increase of 1.84% year-over-year. The condominium benchmark price is $255,000 an decrease of 1.92%. Overall sales for the month totaled 1,574 units, compared with 1,227 during the same period last year.
