Resale Market Continues Slow and Steady Recovery
Calgary is seeing improving sales activity and price growth with no indication that market is poised for a correct. In fact, for the first time in several years, the Calgary housing market is demonstrating typical behavior for this time of year.
The detached benchmark price for September is $432,900 an increase of 8.20% year-over-year. The apartment benchmark price is $249,300 an increase of 3.83% and the attached benchmark price is $277,700 an increase of 2.25%. Overall sales for the month totaled 1,617 units, compared with 1,461 during the same period last year.
