Improving inventories help ease price growth pressure. Calgary's market posted relatively strong November activity.
The single-family benchmark price for November is $511,300 an 8.7% increase year over year. The Condominium apartment benchmark price is $300,700 and the townhouse benchmark price is $338,600 with a combined growth of over 19%. Overall sales for the month totaled 1782 units, compared with 1,724 during the same period last year up 3.36%.
Net migration, strong employment with rising wages, tight rental market and low interest rates; have supported the demand in our housing sector.
